Account Manager

Our Client seeks an Account Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales team to achieve growth targets allocated to each existing account and contribute to overall targets within agreed budgetary parameters, through the proactive introduction of new products and propositions
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify and develop business opportunities with off island clients, both existing and new
  • Manage and track the progress of customer objectives providing regular and timely information to ensure delivery against agreed priorities
  • Point of contact for relationship management
  • Ensure all appropriate customer documentation is produced in accordance with the required standards and timescales
  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships, including follow-up calls, customer visits and business presentations etc
  • Assist and influence Global Solutions customers in identifying and shaping their future business requirements and work with Product and Sales Managers to identify and formulate appropriate propositions
  • Build collaborative working relationships both within Global Solutions and across the Organisation to ensure effective and efficient delivery against targets
  • As required complete activities associated with wholesale settlement and billing process
  • As required coordinate and produce all commercial documents
  • Provide additional support to the other key revenue streams as may be deemed necessary as appropriate in order to maintain overall Divisional flexibility and focus
  • To participate in the delivery and execution of projects as may be necessary
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs
  • Sales and/or account management experience
  • Willingness to deliver presentations within a Corporate environment to both internal colleagues and external customers
  • Experience of working in a technology / software environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Highly adaptive, flexible and dynamic
  • Ability to influence others
  • Ability to listen to others and capture requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly skilled in building effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Previous Account Manager or Sales Manager experience within Telecoms - Desirable
  • Experience of working within mobile arena and familiarity with platforms - Desirable
  • Previous experience of delivering presentations - Desirable
  • Experience of negotiating and closing contracts - Desirable
