Our client seeks an Application Management Analyst to join their IT Service team.
 
Role Profile:  You will be a member of the wider technology team who managing systems, keeping them stable, functional and fit-for-purpose. Responsible for support, maintenance and administration of some of the key applications and services, bringing their experience to ensure that  colleagues in brands and cross-functional teams' needs are met:
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing administrative tasks and management activity within applications to ensure that  systems remain stable, functional, current and fit-for-purpose.
  • Working with stakeholders across Technology to handle requests, resolve incidents and deploy changes on the applications within scope.
  • Providing out of hours support for the applications, scheduled batch and other tasks on a rota basis.
  • Collaborating with engineering and infrastructure colleagues to identify management and administrative tasks that are appropriate to handle within the team
  • Working with technical vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the maximising realised value from the applications, through developing and running
  • Working with IT Service colleagues to improve knowledge of applications and drive up customer satisfaction through increasing first-time-fix rates.
  • Working with change and delivery colleagues to support projects and releases as appropriate.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Objects, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL and SSRS - Essential.
  • Support of Microsoft Office / Office 365 / Microsoft 365 in an enterprise management setting - Essential.
  • Previous experience of Java, PowerBI, PowerCube, Microsoft Azure fundamentals & database, and API Management - Desirable
  • Experience working with outsourced technical landscapes and financial services - Desirable.
  • Experience of Elastic, Grafana, Microsoft Access and IIS - Extremely beneficial.
  • A proactive individual, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to express technical concepts in Business English to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure , maintaining focus and accuracy is a necessity for this role.
  • A good problem solver who can analyse situations and devise approaches to validate and resolve them through logical thinking.
  • Proven disciplined and consistent analytic approach and mindset.
  • The ability to work with stakeholders at different levels of seniority, multiple different suppliers and geographies.
