Our client seeks an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
 
Role Profile: To assist the Financial Manager (as one of three Assistants in the department).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ledger posting
  • Reconcile and monitor supplier accounts
  • Preparing bank payments
  • Post supplier invoices
  • Fixed assets
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by manager
  • This list is an indicator of the type of duties covered and is not exhaustive
 
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Have good accounting knowledge and reasonable practical experience
  • Have excellent IT knowledge particularly with Excel
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Be prepared to work to tight deadlines
  • Be accurate with attention to detail
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Be able to work as a part of a team
  • Have plenty of common sense
  • Have a good sense of humour
