CTS Architect and Technical Presales

Our client seeks a CTS Architect and Technical Presales to join their team.  
Role Profile:  You will contribute significantly to the revenue growth of the cyber-security portfolio within the existing customer base and assist in new customer engagements using your experience and knowledge of the security arena to generate new opportunities. Interfacing both technology and sales teams the role will ensure security solutions are relevant to the customer and deliverable by the company or its partners.  You will continually review security solutions and recommend new security technologies, develop services or recommend partnerships ensuring the Portfolio remains applicable to the requirements of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recommendation of Security Technologies, Services and Partners; growing and continually improving the Cyber Security portfolio
  • Identification of new opportunities within the security arena
  • Valuable contribution to ongoing security Market campaigns
  • Lead technology contributor to customer security opportunity prospecting and engagements
  • Lead Security Solution Architect for the design and technical proposals of Customer Security Solutions
  • Lead technical contributor for customer security opportunity negotiations
  • Technology interface for the development of Security service
Key Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of overall experience in IT industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales/sales engineering, consulting, and/or other customer facing role consulting on, delivering technical products or services.
  • Significant technical and customer presentation skills
  • 5 Years working experience with a wide range of security technologies preferably within a Value-Added Reseller
  • In-depth understanding of security principals & security frameworks
  • Certified in one or more security vendor technologies (minimum engineer grade preferably architect grade)
  • Good understanding of security standards such as ISO27001
  • Multiple years working within reseller / vendor as customer facing technical sales
  • Experience in presenting & providing technology proposal documentation
  • Commercially aware with ability to contribute towards commercial offerings ensuring solutions proffered are affordable for the customer and profitable to the company.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences, from the user to the executive level.
  • Demonstrated success developing client relationships.
  • Experience with enterprise voice systems and their infrastructure.
  • Experience managing a high volume of activity and a large number of projects in a fast-paced growing organization.
  • Experience in a customer facing role requiring a high level of individual responsibility, sound business judgment and large enterprise account management, where an aptitude for improving customer satisfaction was successfully demonstrated.
