Our client seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team.
 
Role Profile:
Day to day management of the digital marketing strategy including consumer and corporate websites, SEO and PPC strategy as well as managing social channels
 
Key Responsibilities:
Digital
  • Day to day management of consumer and corporate websites including trouble shooting and implementation of best practice user experience (UX) of the websites.
  • Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant or duplicated information.  
  • Creation of non-product specific website content aligned with company strategy.
  • Own and consistently improve the usability and customer journeys online in line with the business strategy of digital first.
  • Publish and update non-campaign related content on consumer & corporate websites.
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure quality of content and volume of messages on the consumer and corporate website.
  • Responsible for web analytics including Google Analytics.
  • Coordinate, manage and execute ongoing website development projects from a marketing perspective in partnership with the marketing managers and external agencies.  
  • Working with the marketing team to enhance and maintain digital branding presence in market.
Social & Paid media
  • Ownership and day to day management of SEO and social strategy and execution of that strategy including reporting and measurement.
  • Day to day management of paid digital budgets delivering mix of always on and tactical digital campaigns.
  • Develop and implement social media strategy.
  • Act as gatekeeper to ensure quality of content.
  • Management of wider team including retail to ensure supply of relevant social content.
  • Online/social monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
General
  • Day-to-day budget management
  • Day to day management of digital and social media agencies.
  • Up to date knowledge of industry best practices and digital trends.
In addition, the person will be required to
  • Understand and comply with the licence and other regulatory rules applying to the position.
  • Understand and comply with the Data Protection Law as it relates to the position.
  • Understand and comply with the Health and Safety responsibilities relevant to the role as defined in the Company Safety Policy
  • Work in accordance with the safety procedures and safe working policies of the Company
  • Undertake appropriate security awareness training covering information security, data protection, financial crime and payment card data and comply with their information security responsibilities. This awareness training includes understanding of the incident reporting process to be followed in the event of the employee suspecting, causing, or discovering an information security incident.
 
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Minimum three years website experience
  • Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems, HTML
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC)
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrable online copy writing skills
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, measurement, and development
  • Highly developed organisational skills including clear examples of project management.
Highly Desirable:
  • Up to date knowledge of industry best practices
  • Experience of the telecoms sector
  • Experience managing third parties/suppliers in an outsourcing environment
