As an Associate in the Financial Control team, you will play an important part of the team and will be responsible for the production and delivery of accurate, timely financial information. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be a core part of the monthly close process, ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled, that balances and financial performance are understood, and all controls are followed.
  • You will also be a key part of the year end statutory accounts production and audit process as well as being involved in tax compliance across multiple reporting entities and regions as they gain exposure across the Group, and your experience will allow you to make improvements across Group Finance.
  • Responsibility for the Financial Control of the Business including adherence to policies and procedures
  • Closing the books on a monthly basis and managing the general ledger
  • Being a second point of contact on the monthly and annual close process
  • Technical accounting, adherence to global IFRS standards and controls
  • Supporting the team with reporting the commercial performance of the business
  • Support internal audit with performance monitoring and procedures
  • Working closely with the Finance Operations team including review and oversight of reconciliations, purchase ledger, receivables etc
  • Tax and regulatory compliance and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedure
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of financial control, either in practice or from an accountancy firm, with an ability to take individual entity accounts to trial balance stage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel
  • Experience of successfully working in a fast-paced, ever-changing corporate environment
