Our client seeks a Junior Backend Developer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and publish new features.
- Review and improve existing backend codebases, ensuring quality and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Key Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. OR; Experience in a software development role.
- Proficiency in Go and Shell scripting.
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
- Strong ability to understand and analyse existing codebases.
- Familiarity with smart contract languages like Solidity and Rust is a plus.
- Understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrencies is highly advantageous.
