Our client seeks an Office Assistant to join their team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Managing Director and Compliance Executive, you will contribute towards the efficient and effective operation of business development and the compliance function.
  • Compliance
  • Perform due diligence, risk profiling and assessments on clients, as necessary
  • Ad-hoc AML/CFT related projects
  • Assistance with the drafting, and maintenance of the company's procedures
  • Database
  • Act as the principal for the company's specialist in-house database this includes initial data input and day to day management
  • Compilation of statistical information as and when required
  • Business development
  • Provide office support to the managing director in respect of on-going business development
 
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Essential
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines
  • Highly productive, working with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience of adapting to and working with bespoke computer software
  • Excellent problem solving skills and using sound judgement
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and professional approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands and circumstances
  • Team player: ability to work successfully within a small team and to forge and maintain relationships
  • Analytical and methodical approach- ability to question and raise questions
  • Amiable yet resilient character- able to deal with external and internal customers in a polite, professional and positive manner
  • Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative
Desirable
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment and complying with policy and procedures
