Our client seek a Part-Time Credit Controller to join their team. (15 - 20 Hours a week)
Role Profile:
- Responsibility for managing the debts of Group Clients
- Assist the Team with maintaining up-to-date accounting records for the Group of Companies
- Work with the Teams to monitor any write-off and uplifts to ensure effective control and consistency
- To maintain relationships with existing clients and debtors, including negotiating terms of payment
Key Responsibilities
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debtors
- Ensuring timely payments are made
- Monitor the day-to-day debtor receipts
- Reconciliation of client balances
- Processing incoming funds and reconciling invoices
- Checking and posting receipts to accounting systems
- Preparation of statements, client status reports and related information as required
- Resolving account queries and responding to client enquiries
- Responsibility for investigating variances between monthly budgets and actual results
- Preparation of ad hoc reporting requested by directors and senior management
- Assist Head of Finance with general central finance activities
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance team environment
- Possess excellent communication skills enabling effective contact at all levels both internal and external
- Ability to plan and carry out own work under general direction
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good knowledge of relevant computer applications
- Good knowledge of all relevant internal and external procedures, policies, regulations and guidelines
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to help others
- Friendly and professional manner
- Have commercial acumen
