Payment Administrator

Our client seeks a Payments Administrator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility of the payment process of DCTS and its clients - Timely and accurate processing of all outward payments to clients and external suppliers
  • Provide banking and payments expertise to colleagues and business partners
  • Investigate and answer payment related queries from colleagues and external banking partners
  • Maintain strong working relationships with banks, business partners and colleagues across the business, be able to communicate effectively on payment processes both verbally and in writing
  • Assume responsibility for the set up and administration of DCTSL's clients' bank accounts with a range of different banks and payment service providers in different currencies and jurisdictions,
  • Maintain banking data on systems and assist in monitoring and reporting of banking and payments,
  • Act as the principle point of contact for payment and debit/credit card matters
  • Assist with compliance matters in relation to banking and payments, managing risks, mitigating appropriately, and escalating where necessary
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Payment processing experience is highly desirable, however if you have strong attention to detail, please don't let this put you off. We can teach you the process if you have the desire to learn and succeed.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to deliver quality and timely results on a daily basis, working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • A working knowledge of banking systems is preferred
  • Experience of Viewpoint administration system is preferred
  • Experience working in a Financial Services environment is desired
  • Ideally you will have a strong understanding in relation to banking documentation/information and requests made to or by external banks
  • Able to take accountability and responsibility for own personal development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, particularly on the payments process
  • Able to work independently within agreed objectives, taking personal responsibility for delivery
