About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced, client-focused individual to join their gaming team and provide professional compliance support. As a Regulatory Compliance Manager & MLRO, you will work within a Managed Services environment, assisting a portfolio of gaming clients and managing various licensing, regulatory, monitoring, and compliance matters.
You will work in a busy and growing department where delivering high-quality services and proactive solutions is key. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of gaming (online or land-based) and experience in B2C or B2B environments, whether working for an operator, supplier, or as an MLRO/DMLRO in a relevant financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of bespoke AML/CFT risk frameworks across various eGaming business models.
- Develop AML/CFT reporting and monitoring systems to comply with relevant codes.
- Manage client relationships, addressing compliance challenges with pragmatic solutions.
- Oversee projects related to licensing, monitoring, regulatory returns, and reporting.
- Act as MLRO, DMLRO, and/or AML/CFT Compliance Officer on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate closely with Licensing and Corporate Governance teams to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Support various business initiatives and tailor internal and client policies, AML manuals, and guidance documents.
- Contribute to comprehensive Compliance Monitoring Plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be organised, have a background in compliance within the gaming sector, and be experienced in a client-facing role. Other desirable skills and attributes include:
- Experience in the eGaming sector, preferably with B2C licensed operations.
- Strong administrative skills and prior experience acting as DMLRO and/or AML/CFT Compliance Officer for a regulated business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with confidence and approachability.
- A good understanding of wider regulatory compliance requirements.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
