Our client seeks a Senior Account Manager (Business Development) to join their team.
Role Profile: Provide capacity to existing insurance team whilst working with the Managing Director on new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the point of contact for new client enquiries;
  • Lead the proof of concept work and on boarding / authorisation of new insurance clients;
  • When required preparation of client Board packs and presentation of Board papers;
  • Responding to stakeholder queries (inclusive of client, IOMFSA, audit and internal stakeholders);
  • Coordination of all internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely client service;
  • Participation in client and group related project work as required;
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client's business and its needs;
  • Develop strong working relationship with new and existing clients; and
  • Build a network of internal and external contacts to assist in the service of clients.
 
Key skills & Experience:
  • +5 years' experience of looking after a wide ranging portfolio of captive clients
  • You will be client focussed with demonstrable working knowledge of the new Isle of Man insurance regulations
  • Highly organised with strong administrative qualities and high standards of accuracy;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of insurance and the Isle of Man insurance sector;
  • Experienced in proof of concept work;
  • Strong communicator both internally and externally;
  • Confident in working with external clients;
  • Able to demonstrate team focus;
  • Able to demonstrate networking and relationship management skills; and
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and implement knowledge.
