Our client seeks a Senior Administrator - Risk - to join their team  
Role profile:  To assist with managing and implementing the centralised risk business functions. 
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Compliance Registers to ensure they are maintained accurately and up to date at all times
  • Manage complaints to ensure that they are reported, dealt with and closed off in line with regulatory and business obligations
  • Responsible for the World Check 1 weekly batch upload, clearing results and where necessary escalating potential hits to senior management
  • Manage Breaches and errors to ensure that they are reported, dealt with and closed off in line with regulatory and business obligations
  • Manage the recording of Power of Attorney/Delegation of Authority(s) to ensure regulatory and business requirements are been adhered to
  • Manage and close off the Risk & Compliance section of Entity Close Off/Transfer Form
  • Assist the Head of Centralised Functions including producing accurate management information/reports
  • Responsible for ad-hoc Risk & Compliance projects
  • Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management
  • Develop knowledge of policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory requirement
  • Adhere to CPD requirements
  • Adhere to core values and expected behaviours
 
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • A relevant AML/Compliance professional qualification (ICA Certificate/Diploma) or working towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Relevant risk and compliance experience in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of current regulatory AML/CFT requirements and risk factors
  • A broad understanding of multi-jurisdictional AML/CFT legislation and regulatory requirements would be desirable
  • A hands on, proactive, approach to work
  • Proficient organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work towards and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively across multi-teams
  • Working knowledge of Viewpoint is desirable but not essential
