Our client seeks a Senior Corporate Governance Officer to join their team.  
 
Role Profile:  You will support the line manager and the team to provide ongoing corporate governance administration and support to worldwide clients and in-house companies to ensure efficient and compliant operations and a reduction to corporate risk.
As a Senior Corporate Governance Officer, you will work closely with all areas of the business to assist in a variety of administration, secretarial and regulatory matters. You will be working as part of a specialised team in a busy and growing department where the delivery of high-quality service and administrative solutions is key.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide corporate governance support and administration to companies in a variety of jurisdictions with support from the wider Corporate Governance team.
  • Develop your career with exposure to Board level decision making within a global environment.
  • Draft resolutions and minutes recording board decisions and organise the distribution of papers and documents for board meetings.
  • Ensure the maintenance and integrity of company data and records and adherence with local legislation in which the entity is registered including the annual regulatory requirements for companies in a variety of jurisdictions.
  • Assist and participate in projects for global group of companies.
 
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • You will be a hard-working and organised individual.
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar administrative role is preferable and the following attributes would also be advantageous:
  • Strong level of technical knowledge and understanding of the statutory requirements for the registration of company changes and updates.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly.
  • Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Governance and its role in an organisation.
  • Computer literacy (working knowledge of NAVOne or Laserfiche would be advantageous).
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively as part of a team and to perform well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
