Senior Service Desk Consultant

Our client seeks a Senior Service Desk Consultant to join their team.
Role Profile:
Provides second line technical support to International Client Solutions (ICS) to ensure appropriate end user computing services, resulting in effective and continuous high-quality IT service. Interprets, troubleshoots and responds with technical advice and resolution to reported incidents, faults, problems and requests. Installs, modifies and repairs computer hardware and software. Responsible for ensuring that ICS, IT services are supported, maintained and available according to agreed SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as second line of contact for employees on technology issues related to Applications / software faults and all I.T related queries/guidance.
  • Troubleshooting banking system and network problems, diagnosing and solving software / hardware faults where possible.
  • Manage and administer data management tasks such as imports / data extracts / reconciliations / report production.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma - Information Technology
  • A+, N+ and other Microsoft certificates
  • 3-4 years, Desktop Support experience
