Our client seeks a Senior Administrator to join their team.
Role Profile: The Senior Administrator will take direct administrative responsibility for a complex portfolio of trusts, companies and other wealth structures ensuring that first class service is provided to clients, intermediaries and stakeholders, in support of the Client Directors. The role holder will work to identify and mitigate risk across their span of control and to ensure high standards of client service. The Senior Administrator will promote the company and its business objectives, whilst driving morale by providing support and guidance (technical and otherwise) to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Client
- Deliver high quality service to all clients, intermediaries and stakeholders to ensure longevity of relationships, providing technical and other support to their team.
- Interact directly with clients as required and be responsible for client communication and the statutory maintenance of their portfolio.
- Support by identifying client needs and delivering upon opportunities to drive up levels of client service, as well as seeking to identify new business opportunities.
- Deliver on client commitments to agreed deadlines and to a high standard.
Commercial
- Achieve personal targets as set out for time recording, utilisation and working capital management.
- Support the Client Directors in understanding and acting upon the profitability of their client book by reviewing and controlling WIP, ensuring prompt collection of fees and highlighting revenue opportunities.
- Support the team in coaching more junior colleagues to build understanding and familiarity with the working capital cycle and prompt collection of debts.
Risk
- Support line management in driving appropriate behaviour and take action to ensure agreed business risk targets are met.
- Help to ensure that the company is compliant with local regulatory requirements, supporting a positive relationship with the local regulator through strong governance.
- Use technical capability to identify and mitigate risk within the client book, escalating where necessary and required in accordance with policies.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Significant industry experience and demonstrable first-class client service delivery against the needs and demands of high net worth clients.
- Excellent technical competency and ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively, with a proven track record in technical and complex transactions for clients.
- Possess sound knowledge of current issues affecting structures and the clients for whom the company acts.
- Put clients at the centre of everything you do, building relationships and exceeding expectations.
- Be flexible and professional when working under time driven pressures, with excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and focussed on exceeding targets and goals.
- The successful candidate will be fluent in English and an understanding of other languages is desirable.
- Hold or be studying towards a relevant professional qualification. Once qualified you will also be expected to maintain the relevant Continued Professional Development (CPD) hours in line with your relevant qualification.
