Our client seeks a Test Lead to join their team Quality Assurance Team.

As a Test Lead of the Quality Assurance team, you create the most relevant test coverage based on product risks and the appropriate functional & non-functional quality characteristics and review and send feedback on the work of others
 
As part of our culture of continuous improvement, you seek feedback from others to act upon it, suggesting changes and tracking their results. You bring your knowledge of the best testing practices to enhance our service.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Select appropriate testing approach, including manual and automated testing.
  • Develops and executes test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborates across parties involved in product, systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage. Identifies improvements in requirements, design or specification processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing.
  • Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks, including the work of others.
  • Providing estimates to help with planning and resourcing.
  • Coordinating the UAT phase with business users.
 
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software testing role or user acceptance role or experience in the International Life Assurance industry
  • Agile SDLC with understanding of Waterfall & V-Model
  • Proficiency using issue tracking (Jira) and test management tools
  • Basic SQL Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • 'Can-do' and self-motivating attitude
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Bachelor degree level or relevant professional qualification or relevant experience in career history
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
