Our client is looking for a Trainee Product and Development Specialist to join their team.
The Role: You will be responsible for the development and support of bespoke and third-party software solutions ensuring the continuity and efficiency of existing client solutions. There will also be the opportunity to develop and collaborate on new projects both internally and for end clients. Training will be provided by the in-house development team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide product solutions for specific business needs.
  • The role requires management and creation of entire software solutions process of building workflows through integrated applications, from the design process, to creating, testing, and rolling out the solution.
  • The main duties include designing a product solution in line with specifications given by business managers, developing, implementing software, taking the solution live and offering support services and training for internal users and clients

    • Ability to set clear objectives and evaluate / document progress.
    • Able to thrive under pressure and prioritise to meet deadlines without cutting corners.

Desirable Technical Skills:
  • Qualifications in a systems/technology related subject.
  • Keen interest in Web Design and Front-End User Interface.
  • Proven ability and drive to problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • Ensure high quality, up-to-date documentation exists for related services.
  • Remain aware of new product developments in relevant applications.
  • Able to test software with an eye for detail and maintain all relevant documentation.
  • Knowledge of SQL or database administration and querying.
  • A reasonable understanding of the related scripting languages, or transferable languages.
