Our client seeks a Yacht Management Support Administrator to join their team.
Role Profile:  Your role will involve being part of the Yacht Finance, Administration and Crew Recruitment team where you will be assisting with payments, administration support and crew recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and administration of clients' bank accounts, with a range of different banks and payment service providers in different jurisdictions
  • Set up and assist with payments
  • Set up and administration of clients' debit/credit card arrangements,
  • Maintain a very high level of accuracy and understanding in relation to banking documentation/information and requests made
  • Assist with compliance matters in relation to banking, payments, cards, and client periodic reviews
  • Support the yacht finance and administration team with all banking, payment and administration related matters as and when required
  • Bookkeeping - basic journals, inputting invoices/payments/confirmations & budgets into the yacht management accounts system, monthly bank/card/cash reconciliations
  • Assistance with placing yacht insurance and claim administration
  • Assistance with yacht registration and flag application documentation
  • Assisting the crew recruitment department:
  • Use internal and external systems to advertise vacancies
  • Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships
  • Reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates
  • Crew vetting - requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants
Key skills and Experience:
  • Experience in processing payments
  • Highly motivated to provide clients with an exceptional service
  • Work well in a team environment and on your own initiative
  • Have a keen interest in accounting
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • A confident telephone manner
  • An effective communicator to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • A willingness to learn
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Comprehension of data protection concepts
  • A structured training plan will be arranged, along with constant support and guidance. There will also be opportunity for progression and further training within this growing team.
