Search & Select Announces New ESG Commitments to Support Sustainability and Employee Wellbeing

Search & Select, the Isle of Man’s leading recruitment agency for over 25 years, is proud to announce a series of new ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) commitments to enhance employee well-being and reduce its environmental footprint.

This year’s initiatives highlight the company’s commitment to sustainability, employee wellbeing, and its dedication to the community and environment.

In its drive for a more sustainable and employee-friendly workspace, Search & Select has implemented several key upgrades, including:

·         Enhanced Employee Wellbeing Facilities: Staff comfort and wellbeing have been prioritised with upgraded kitchen and workspaces, as well as the addition of changing rooms and a shower facility to support active and healthy lifestyles.

·         New Windows for Noise Reduction and Energy Efficiency: Improved windows help to maintain a comfortable office environment by reducing outside noise and increasing heat retention, minimising energy consumption and enhancing productivity.

·         Office Recycling System: To support waste reduction, individual desk bins have been replaced with three centralised recycling bins. This simple shift is part of Search & Select’s commitment to reduce waste and promote responsible recycling practices among employees.

·         Air Source Heat Pump and Solar Panels: With the installation of an air source heat pump and solar panels, the agency has significantly reduced its reliance on traditional energy sources. These renewable solutions support the company’s goal of reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainable energy practices.
