Our client seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team.  
 
Profile:  You will provide essential support across a variety of finance and admin functions. This is a great opportunity to gain broad experience in a busy finance office and contribute to the  smooth running of day-to-day operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing purchase ledger invoices and maintaining supplier records.
  • Support the sales ledger by raising invoices, tracking receipts, and helping with reconciliations.
  • Help prepare and upload payment runs, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation.
  • Assist with payroll administration tasks including timesheet entry and data collation.
  • Support subcontractor ledger duties such as invoice processing, CIS compliance checks, and payment preparation.
  • Perform accurate data entry and help maintain financial records and spreadsheets.
  • Respond to internal and external finance queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide general administrative support such as filing, document handling, and email correspondence.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment, offering flexible help where needed.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a finance or administrative role is preferred
  • Comfortable with data entry, document handling, and working with finance software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible and organised with a can-do attitude.
