Administration Officer

Our client seeks an administration officer to join their team for a short contract.
 
You will cover the front office reception area, deal with general enquiries and assist with the preparation and routine maintenance of resources and equipment. Joining a small and collaborative team, the ideal candidate must have excellent teamworking skills and be able to multitask efficiently in a varied and busy environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal with both internal and external enquiries in person and by telephone.
  • Assist with the maintenance of both manual and computerised record systems.
  • Provide general clerical / administrative support e.g. photocopying and printing.
  • Assist with the maintenance of financial records, by processing orders and invoices.
  • Assist with cash handling and sales.
  • Monitor and arrange stock, ensuring that items are appropriately and securely stored, assisting with stock checks and audits.
  • Assist with the provision of First Aid,  Health & Safety and Fire Evacuation processes.
  • Dealing with complaints and problems at an initial stage.
  • Support the delivery of events / activities, this may mean on occasion being available to work in the evenings or weekends.
 
Key Skills & Experience:
  • GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C or above.
  • Excellent customer service record.  
  • Willingness to undertake appropriate training.
  • Organised, efficient, methodical.
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills, including working knowledge of e-mails systems, Word & Excel.
