Our client seeks a Business Assurance Manager to join their team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex risk and compliance matters raised by junior staff, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Complete and maintain the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for core business processes, including control checks, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and ad-hoc reviews.
  • Provide timely guidance on regulatory, operational risk, and compliance matters, liaising with internal stakeholders and senior management to ensure alignment with relevant frameworks.
  • Facilitate and oversee operational assurance test plans across key business functions.
  • Analyse incidents, breaches, complaints, and audit or compliance findings to identify areas for improvement and strengthen risk management methodologies and controls.
 
Key Skills & Experience:
  • 5-7 years' experience in an offshore financial services environment.
  • Diploma in Risk Management (essential).
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations and associated risks.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring risk and compliance controls.
  • Knowledge of banking processes, fraud detection, and client service practices.
  • Degree in Corporate Governance and Risk Management (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to challenge ideas, explore improvements, and build strong working relationships.
