Compliance Administrator

Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their team.
 
You will be responsible for supporting the compliance department in monitoring and enforcing compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves maintaining accurate records, conducting compliance audits, and assisting in the development of compliance initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the group AML/CTF defence by undertaking screening of the client base to identify any links to PEP's, sanctions, adverse media and financial crime.
  • Review and action sanctions notices and other relevant regulatory notifications
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing reports on compliance activities and findings.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of compliance issues.
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Supporting the Head of Compliance and MLRO.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Ongoing & future compliance projects in line with the business objectives.
  • Assisting with the review of risk assessments and statutory reviews to ensure compliance  with anti-money laundering regulations in cooperation with the compliance department.
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Ideally working towards or holds a relevant compliance qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in CSP/finance environment, ideally in a similar role
  • Highly motivated individual who strives to provide exceptional services
  • Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering AML/CFT, onboarding clients and client reviews
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Basic knowledge of GDPR and handling sensitive information
