Compliance Assistant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Assistant to support the Accounts and Operational Teams in addressing compliance-related tasks for a 3-month contract.
 
This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of records and compliance with internal policies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review counterpart records to ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Conduct call-backs to counterparts to verify information and obtain missing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance checks and escalate any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
 
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in compliance, preferably within a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Part-qualified accountant or relevant accounting diploma would be preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, including confidence in conducting follow-up calls with external parties.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with KYC processes and financial compliance frameworks would be desirable.
