Our client seeks a confident and commercially minded Compliance Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of applicable Isle of Man and UK regulatory requirement.
- Monitor and assess regulatory developments, supporting impact assessments and the planning, implementation and embedding of regulatory change.
- Assist with the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including scoping, testing, reporting and tracking remediation.
- Identify areas of compliance risk or control weakness and support the development of corrective actions.
- Maintain required regulatory registers, logs and records in line with FCA Sourcebooks and the Isle of Man FSA Rulebook.
- Support effective issue management, escalation and reporting of compliance risks.
- Contribute to management reporting by analysing compliance and risk data and providing insight on the regulatory control environment.
- Manage registers of regulatory returns and notifications, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Provide ongoing compliance advice and guidance to the business, including support for projects, change initiatives and marketing activity.
- Contribute to the delivery of compliance and financial crime training and promote a positive compliance culture across the Group.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience in compliance monitoring, oversight and reporting within a regulated financial services environment.
- A relevant professional qualification or equivalent industry experience (e.g. Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit or Legal).
- Working knowledge of Isle of Man FSA regulatory requirements and associated guidance.
- An understanding of UK regulatory frameworks applicable to banking and lending.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
