Our client seeks an experienced and knowledgeable Compliance Monitoring Officer to join their team for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.
The ideal candidate will have vast Financial Crime knowledge. The will be proactive and confident - especially when dealing with stakeholders and can ideally take ownership of workloads and priorities.
This role's key responsibility is to enable the execution of Compliance Monitoring plans, processes and activities across dedicated areas of a Business Unit, in-line with the Group Monitoring Framework and standards to ensure the effective identification and reporting of Compliance risks and cases of non-compliance, to avoid operational losses, fines, penalties or reputational damage and enable competitive advantage to the organisation.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 5 - 7 years' experience in Compliance Risk Management.
- A specialist in Compliance Advisory and Monitoring with a sound knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and upcoming developments.
- A first degree in Audit, Business Commerce or Legal.
- Ability to take the understanding of business needs and operations and to translate it into Compliance risk management solutions.
- Able to promote good governance, risk & control.
- Audit methodology and report writing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
