Our client seeks a Transaction Management Unit Specialist (Corporate Loan Operations Specialist) to join their team, supporting the delivery and ongoing management of Structured Corporate Loan transactions within their Investment Banking Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within a complex lending environment, working with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure transactions are accurately implemented, effectively managed throughout their lifecycle and administered in line with agreed terms and operational requirements.
The role will suit an individual with experience in banking operations, loan administration or transaction management who enjoys working with complex financial products, analysing documentation and delivering a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of complex Structured Corporate Loan transactions throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Review and interpret loan agreements and supporting documentation to ensure transaction terms can be accurately captured and administered.
- Create and maintain transaction records within relevant systems, ensuring facilities are accurately reflected to support ongoing administration, monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Monitor live transactions, identifying, investigating and escalating operational issues where required.
- Ensure transaction terms and conditions are adhered to, supporting effective risk management and operational control.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are stored appropriately in line with governance requirements.
- Provide operational input and support to stakeholders involved in new product development and transaction implementation activities.
- Work collaboratively with teams across Investment Banking, Credit, Legal, Risk and Operations to support effective transaction management.
- Contribute to process improvements and help identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Skills and Experience:
- A postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
- 3-4 years' experience within Financial Services, ideally within banking operations, loan administration, transaction management or a similar environment.
- Experience supporting corporate lending products, debt products or financial instruments.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding solutions.
- The ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience within Investment Banking Operations, Structured Loans or systems such as ACBS would be advantageous.
