Data Engineer (12 Month FTC)
Our banking client is delivering a regulatory driven compensation project requiring immediate support within their data and operations function.
The role will focus on extracting, cleansing and structuring data from multiple internal systems to support a live claims and customer contact process. This data will be used by operational teams within a CRM system to manage customer outreach and payment activity.
This is a hands-on role working closely with operations, customer service and IT stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, complete and fit for purpose in a time sensitive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Extract and consolidate data from multiple internal systems
- Cleanse, validate and structure datasets for operational use
- Prepare and format data for upload into CRM and case management systems
- Support data requirements linked to compensation activity
- Work closely with operations, customer service and IT teams
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues
- Ensure data integrity for customer contact and payment processes
Key Skills & Experience required
- Strong hands on experience working with data in a banking or financial services environment
- Experience with data extraction, transformation or integration work
- Good understanding of databases, spreadsheets, data manipulation or ETL processes
- Experience working with CRM or operational systems advantageous
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage volume and deadlines
