E-Commerce Account Manager

Our client seeks an E-Commerce Account Manager to join their Global Digital team.  
   
Role Profile:  Responsible for driving the sales and market share growth of defined accounts. You will understand and can demonstrate the full digital customer journey and can translate this into strategies and tactics that will optimise the brand representation and grow sales & market share online.    
   
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the end-to-end strategy, delivery and growth of the both the International Ecommerce and Amazon Vendor & Seller Accounts.
  • Create and deliver an effective strategy and plan to accelerate growth with key eCommerce partner: Amazon and eBay with the Head of Digital and eCommerce.
  • Develop newer Marketplace partners.
  • Work with the eCom Team & Retail Sales Teams to identify and launch on new eCommerce platforms.
  • Responsible for online performance to maximise sales and profits, in line with the forecast and budget.
  • Manage Amazon advertising and merchandising budget, tracking and reporting on Amazon KPIs including ROI, ROAS, conversion rates, etc.
  • Along with the eCom and Brand Marketing team, ensure that assets used across the Amazon marketplace and other eCommerce platforms are of high quality and best in class.
  • Create marketing plans using the full range of tools available, including SEO, PPC, email, display, etc.
  • Regular reporting and present analysis / key actions back to multiple stakeholders, to measure progress and success.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Using Amazon's Vendor Central, Seller Central and AMS portals.
  • E-Commerce or digitally related field.
  • Understanding of Amazon in particular, and the online retail market in general.
  • Working with digital metrics with a history of leveraging these to increase sales performance.
  • Understanding of key digital KPIs (e.g. Impressions, CTR, PDP views, ATC, CVR, ROAS), their inter-connected nature and what levers to drive improved performance.
  • Creating and implementing promotional plans using the full marketing mix for profitable sales growth.
  • Understanding of sales and inventory related metrics, provide regular and accurate forecasts to manage stock across all customers.
  • Using digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display, and affiliate channels.
  • Online product ranging and assortment.
  • Strong commercial acumen coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated - driven by successful outcomes.
  • Working in cross-functional environments with a diverse stakeholder set.
  • Passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving processes and solving problems.
  • Flexible and highly organised to handle multiple tasks and to work within tight timelines.
  • Strong communication skills via email and face to face.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Solid Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Linnworks, or other similar marketplace integration tools.
  • A Level or equivalent in a Business Studies, Marketing, or ecommerce related field.
  • Experience of working with leading digital data platforms such as Google Data Studio, BI, Adobe.
  • Italian language skills.
