Our client is looking for a Qualified Advocate with expertise in Employment Law to join their growing legal team.
This role involves advising and representing clients on a wide range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, while delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on employment issues, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, contracts, and workplace disputes.
- Represent clients in the Employment and Equality Tribunal and other relevant forums.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Manage settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
- Support corporate teams with employment law matters during business transactions and restructurings.
- Stay updated on changes to Manx and UK employment legislation.
Key Requirements
- Qualified Advocate.
- Proven experience in employment law with strong advocacy and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills.
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
