Our client is looking for a Qualified Advocate with expertise in Employment Law to join their growing legal team.
 
This role involves advising and representing clients on a wide range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, while delivering exceptional client service.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on employment issues, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, contracts, and workplace disputes.
  • Represent clients in the Employment and Equality Tribunal and other relevant forums.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Support corporate teams with employment law matters during business transactions and restructurings.
  • Stay updated on changes to Manx and UK employment legislation.
 
Key Requirements
  • Qualified Advocate.
  • Proven experience in employment law with strong advocacy and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills.
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
