Our client seeks a Finance Director to join their team.
This is a pivotal board-level position offering exceptional scope for strategic leadership and genuine influence within a collaborative, high-calibre environment. You will play a key role in corporate strategy, long-term business planning, and the overall effective financial management of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive financial reporting including monthly management accounts and annual statements.
- Drive strategic planning including acquisitions, disposals and business development opportunities.
- Establish and monitor robust financial controls, risk management frameworks and delegation limits.
- Provide strategic leadership to the finance function and manage cross-functional project teams.
- Deliver reliable financial advice and support to the board and executive management.
- Develop innovative financial reporting systems and implement across the business.
- Manage finance, legal and debt recovery functions effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Execute company director responsibilities to the highest ethical and legal standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent 10+ years senior managerial experience.
- Proven track record in M&A transactions including acquisitions and disposals.
- Experience in growing and developing medium-sized entrepreneurial companies.
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience directing teams and managing complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with board-level gravitas.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate vision into actionable business plans.
