Finance Projects Business Analyst

Our client seeks a Finance Projects Business Analyst to assist their team with a suite of finance projects on a 6-month project.
 
Role Profile:  You will play a key role in delivering operational efficiency, changing payment platforms and supporting strategic payment platform upgrades.  This role requires strong analytical and communication experience in working with financial software.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and regional teams to identify and reduce manual payment processes, improving automation and efficiency.
  • Investigate and assess regional payment opportunities, providing recommendations for strategic improvements and local compliance.
  • Lead the business analysis and requirements gathering for the Accurate system upgrade.
  • Document current and future state processes, user stories, and functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management support.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers and senior stakeholders.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experienced BA with a strong finance, payments and reconciliations  understanding.
    • Background in life assurance, banking or investments
    • Experience with Worldline and Accurate is desirable.
    • Proven ability to elicit and document business processes and requirements
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
