Our client seeks a Fund Accounting Operations Analyst to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant, with a proactive attitude and strong time management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and develop new ways of working, where you will have the opportunity to input into the evolution of the business processes on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain the internal control environment to ensure efficiencies and compliance with accounting standards, collective investment scheme regulations and fund constitutional documents.
- Problem solve and develop solutions for complex accounting or technical situations.
- Build strong client relationships by providing expert, value-added and efficient services.
- Assist global jurisdictions with accounting and administrative tasks.
- Prepare financial statements for global jurisdictions Fund clients.
- Assist global jurisdictions with billing, regulatory reporting and any ad-hoc requests.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Fully qualified Accountant
- Experience in the audit of collective investment schemes and valuation of investments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and compliance environment required for managing and administering collective investment schemes.
- Knowledge of investments, including accounting for financial derivatives and other structured products
- An understanding of fund accounting systems and the interfaces for the automated upload of investment prices, trades, and other information from investment managers and brokers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive attitude with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and appropriately prioritise tasks.
