Our client seeks a Head of Compliance to take ownership of their AML/CFT framework and financial crime reporting obligations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can combine regulatory expertise with a practical, business-friendly mindset.
You will act as the AML/CFT Compliance Officer, ensuring the systems and controls are effective while also managing suspicious activity reporting and regulatory engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance / AMLCO
- Maintain and develop AML/CFT framework in line with Isle of Man regulations
- Conduct and oversee the Business Risk Assessment (BRA)
- Monitor the effectiveness of policies, procedures, and controls
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice to the business on compliance matters
- Deliver and oversee staff training and awareness
- Report regularly to senior management on compliance risks and issues
- Act as the main point of contact with the IOMFSA
