Our client seeks a Helpdesk Engineer / Junior Systems Engineer to join their team.
 
You will assist customers with questions and problems concerning hosting products, computer systems and hardware.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience analysing customer requirements and delivering infrastructure that satisfies the design brief.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to tech inquiries via email, over the phone, or in person
  • Inform customers about IT products and services
  • Walk customers step-by-step through the problem-solving process
  • Help with troubleshooting hardware
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service
  • Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate internal team members
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • 2 Years' experience working as an IT help desk or similar technical customer support role
  • A relevant A-Level/BTEC IT based qualification
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience with troubleshooting hardware
  • The ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues
  • Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
