Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud

• Technical investigation for customer support and internal system issues including issue ownership and root cause resolution.
• Respond to technical issues where no procedure exists but with troubleshooting methodologies and technical knowledge.
• Provision, adjustment and recovery of customer services in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Raise third party support cases with appropriate criticalities, managing and escalate as necessary.
• Proactively contribute to continuous service improvement with ideas and suggestions.
• Prioritise and manage their own time including balancing business as usual activity and projects.

• Good working knowledge of backup and replication technologies.
• Good working knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, storage, virtualisation, network and security devices.
• An associate level qualification such as CCNA, VCA or equivalent experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft AD and DNS.
• Background of providing great customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone or in person.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.
• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to work within and contribute to a team.
• Knowledge and experience of ITIL, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS preferred.
