IT Developer

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of in-house applications and digital mapping solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Platform solutions.
• Assist in the design, development, testing and deployment of API integrations.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and adhere to governance and best practices.
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and other project materials as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Achieve agreed objectives effectively within specified timescales.
• Participating in a weekly IT standby Rota as required.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing is a priority in all that you do.
• Undertake such training as necessary to allow for job progression.
• Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

• ESRI/ArcGIS GIS mapping and coding (Python/Arcade) experience (desirable not essential).
• Strong aptitude and desire to learn new products and programming languages, as well as demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop within a collaborative environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data modelling concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Highly self-motivated and the ability to work with minimum supervision using own initiative.
• Ability to drive, or willing to work towards learning to drive a motor vehicle.
