The client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support within their legal practice.
The role will focus on supporting commercial legal work, including document preparation, client communication and the day-to-day administration of client matters. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a professional legal environment and producing accurate, high-quality documentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documentation and correspondence
- Managing and maintaining client files and legal records
- Supporting the progression and coordination of client matters
- Assisting with meeting arrangements and diary coordination where required
- Communicating with clients professionally and maintaining confidentiality
- Supporting billing and general practice administration
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary is essential
- Experience within a commercial or corporate legal environment is advantageous
- Strong document production, proofreading and formatting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Professional, reliable and discreet working style
