An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Managing Director to lead a well-established business on the Isle of Man.
The successful individual will provide overall leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the company continues to meet its regulatory, governance and operational obligations, while driving forward growth and organisational development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the business with integrity, vision, and a strong focus on people.
- Working closely with the Board and senior stakeholders to deliver effective governance, compliance, and strategic oversight.
- Providing direction across financial, regulatory and operational areas.
- Supporting, developing and inspiring the senior management team and wider staff.
- Acting as a key representative of the organisation with regulators, auditors, trustees and other stakeholders.
What they're looking for:
- A proven leader with experience at Director level (ideally within financial services or a regulated environment).
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance and financial oversight.
- A professional qualification, preferably CII, ACCA or ACA.
- Excellent relationship management skills, able to engage confidently with Boards, regulators and key stakeholders.
- A genuine people person - collaborative, approachable, and able to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.
