Marketing Officer - 6 month contract
Our client - A fast-paced, high-profile environment and with an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic team.
Role:   You  will work closely with the Marketing Manager to help manage and optimise key marketing channels, support advertising campaigns, and create engaging, multi-platform content.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the creation and delivery of marketing and communication programmes across multiple channels.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager with the management of external agencies and implementation of strategies and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Project manage the delivery of campaign activity, ensuring outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Assist with the development, management, and ongoing maintenance digital platforms.
  • Support the day-to-day management of social media channels and email marketing delivery, helping to plan, produce, and schedule high-impact content that maximises engagement and reach.
  • Create and develop email marketing campaign briefs for the Team's Content Creator.
  • Contribute to brand and campaign development, ensuring consistent key messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Support the delivery of press and media activity, including managing the online Media Site, distributing news updates.
  • Analyse marketing metrics and audience engagement across digital platforms; producing reports and recommendations to channel objectives.
  • Support the creation and development of B2B marketing resources and other marketing materials, including internal and external communications and presentations.
  • Provide high-quality copywriting and editorial support across a variety of channels and formats, maintaining strong, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging.
  • Support with the creation and distribution of surveys and engagement content
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • 5 GCSE's including English Language.
  • Have a degree in Marketing/Communications/Business
  • Have a Professional Qualification in Marketing or PR
  • Have at least 1 year general marketing experience
  • Have experience measuring marketing performance and be comfortable reporting regularly
  • Have experience in high profile events and working with sponsorships and partner relationships
  • Have a strong understanding of digital platforms and experience of running and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Have experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Are professional and credible
  • Understand the full range of B2B and B2C marketing channels
  • Have project management skills and the ability to deliver to timescales
  • Are highly organised and have experience of managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Have experience working with Digital Marketing channels, such as CMS systems, email marketing platforms and social media channels
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
  • Have strong attention to detail - excellent copywriter and proof reader
  • Have good IT skills and are a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Are comfortable communicating to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Make considered decisions
  • Can work as part of a team and take direction as well as feedback
  • Are highly motivated, confident, resilient and have a positive attitude, energy and drive
  • Are reliable and have a flexible approach to work - able to respond positively to changing demands
