Our client is a well-established, internationally connected financial services group with a proud heritage of delivering bespoke banking and fiduciary solutions to a diverse private client base.
We are supporting our client in the appointment of a Non-Executive Director to sit on the boards of both their licensed banking entity and their trust company.
This is an active, engaged role where your expertise will shape governance, drive accountability and add meaningful value at the highest level of a respected international financial services business. You will attend in-person 4+1 governance / board meetings per annum. Typically, these meet in January, April, July and October with the +1 being a short form meeting to sign financials/AGM in November/December.
Key Skills & Experience:
- A demonstrable background in banking is essential for this appointment.
- An understanding of trust structures and fiduciary services, which will be important given the dual board appointment across both regulated entities.
- IoD or similar qualifications would be preferable.
- Proven experience as a board-appointed director in a regulated financial services environment.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain FSA approval as a Non-Executive Director.
- Strong independent judgement, sound commercial awareness, and the personal integrity expected of a senior governance professional.
- Commitment to in-person attendance at board and governance committee meetings.
