Our client seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Part or Recently Qualified Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team to manage a diverse client portfolio.
- Assist in preparing financial statements for small and medium sized businesses in line with FRS 102 Section 1A.
- Prepare accounts for self-employed individuals.
- Prepare Isle of Man Company and Personal Tax returns.
- Handle enquiries from Tax Authorities professionally and promptly.
- Review and challenge existing systems and procedures, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Newly or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA status.
- Good A Levels or equivalent or 5 GCSEs or equivalent, at grade B or above.
- Experience in accounts preparation from source records is essential.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships is essential.
- Understanding of Isle of Man and/or UK Tax legislation and systems is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with CCH and Quickbooks Online is preferred but not essential.
External and internal training will be supported and encouraged, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build a rewarding career in accountancy within an established practice.
