Our client seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.
Role Profile: Are you a talented Infrastructure Engineer looking to take the next step in your career to join a team of Technical Specialists across the business. You will help build the technical capabilities with your expertise in delivering mission critical infrastructure and multi-cloud services across multi-sites, whilst assisting the technical operations team to support customers multi-cloud infrastructure and the cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and growing the multi-cloud and managed services customer install base is a strategic priority.
- As an Infrastructure Engineer you will work to support the delivery and maintenance of various multi-cloud-based solutions and managed services for customers.
- Installation of multi-cloud infrastructure on site and in the datacentre, individually and as part of a team.
- Setup and provisioning of cloud “as” services provided by the business and 3rd Parties
- Provide maintenance through patching and optimisation of customer infrastructure
- Use your expertise to recommend solutions for support identified repeat calls by helping to identify underlying problems with installed infrastructure or cloud services.
- Create and maintain high quality technical documentation and provide accurate customer specific reports such as Health Check Outputs, Schematics, Live Optics etc.
- Assist pre-sales with customer facing engagements where necessary
- Provide On-call cover for approx. 17 weeks per year based on your specialist knowledge.
Requirements:
- You will be a customer focused and service driven individual with a proven track-record within the technology services sector, and looking for a new challenge with a fast-paced and rapidly growing MSP
- You will have a strong drive to complete installation and support activities within set timeframes and convey a trusted advisor position to customers, with knowledge beyond their internal teams.
- You will have excellent communication skills and background in deploying solutions including those from VMware, DellEMC Storage and Microsoft.
