Senior Manager - Client Accounting

A well-established, entrepreneurial advisory platform in the UAE is seeking a Senior Manager - Client Accounting to lead the delivery of outsourced finance, tax and reporting services across a diverse portfolio of SME, regulated and private client structures.    
This is a leadership role combining technical depth, client relationship management and commercial oversight within a fast-growing Middle Eastern market.    
     
The Opportunity    
You will oversee a high-volume portfolio of clients across multiple UAE jurisdictions, ensuring best-in-class service delivery, regulatory compliance and financial accuracy. The role offers strong autonomy, direct senior-level reporting and genuine input into practice growth and process improvement.    
     
Key Responsibilities    
Client Delivery & Technical Oversight
  • Oversee outsourced finance functions across a broad SME and regulated client base
  • Review monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Approve annual financial statements (IFRS / IFRS for SMEs)
  • Oversee VAT returns, Corporate Tax computations and related regulatory filings
  • Act as senior technical reviewer on complex accounting and tax matters
  • Ensure all deliverables meet agreed timelines and UAE regulatory standards
UAE Tax & Regulatory Compliance
  • Oversee compliance with VAT and Corporate Tax requirements
  • Ensure reporting aligns with DIFC and ADGM frameworks
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators and external advisors
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants
  • Manage workflow allocation across a high-volume client base
  • Conduct performance reviews and support technical development
Client Relationship Management
  • Act as senior point of contact for key clients
  • Oversee onboarding and scope definition
  • Support pricing, proposals and client retention initiatives
Practice & Commercial Oversight
  • Support resource planning and profitability monitoring
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Experience & Qualifications
  • ACA / ACCA / Chartered Accountant qualification (essential)
  • Experience within a CSP is essential to apply for this role 
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as Chartered Accountant
  • Experience managing accounting and tax teams
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs
  • Working knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax 
  • Exposure to regulated entities advantageous
