Our client seeks a Software Engineer to join their team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Role Profile This opportunities will play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives that enhance the digital capabilities, modernise technology landscape and support the future growth of the business. Seeking experienced professionals across several disciplines including.
- Software Development.
- Solution Architecture.
- Salesforce Engineering.
- Cloud Operations Engineering.
- Test Automation & Quality Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your area of expertise, responsibilities may include.
- Designing, developing and supporting business-critical applications and services.
- Delivering modern software solutions using Microsoft and cloud technologies.
- Defining solution architectures and technical designs that support strategic business initiatives.
- Designing, developing and enhancing capabilities within the Salesforce platform.
- Building and maintaining integrations between enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
- Supporting and optimising cloud infrastructure and platform services within Azure environments.
- Driving operational excellence through monitoring, observability, automation and service reliability practices.
- Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and quality engineering standards.
- Supporting DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure automation initiatives.
- Contributing to technology modernisation, platform upgrades and transformation programmes.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, project teams and technology colleagues to deliver successful outcomes.
- Championing engineering best practices, innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Experience
- Software engineering and application development.
- Microsoft technologies including Azure, .NET, C#, Power Platform and associated services.
- Solution architecture and technical design.
- Salesforce development, administration or platform engineering, or transferable software engineering skills with the ability to develop Salesforce expertise.
- Cloud Operations Engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering or site reliability engineering.
- Test automation, quality engineering and automated testing frameworks.
- API development, application integration and distributed systems.
- DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Monitoring, observability, incident management and operational resilience.
- Agile software delivery and modern engineering methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience within financial services would be advantageous but is not essential.
