Our client seeks a UCITS Product Officer to join their team.
Role Profile: Working alongside senior members of the team, the UCITS Product Management Officer is responsible for all aspects of conformance of group funds across relevant regulatory jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remain cognisant of the regulatory framework within which the group operates and assist with the practical interpretation and application of new regulations that may impact the funds.
- Co-ordination of non-operational functions of the Funds.
- Analytical review and analysis of fund related information.
- Manage and maintain relationships with service providers and Investment Managers.
- Regular reporting which may include Regulators and service providers across different jurisdictions.
- The review and update of relevant statutory documents (such as KIID) annual and ad hoc Regulatory filings to Central Bank of Ireland and other relevant jurisdictions.
- Providing assistance in the preparation and launch of new funds and updates to fund documents, including engagement with legal advisors and service providers.
- Production and analysis of Fund related reporting.
- Periodic reviews and updates of statutory fund documentation.
- Provide assistance with the preparation of a variety of information requested by the Management Company and Fund Board.
- Monitoring and oversight of periodic fund information from appointed service providers including Sub-Investment Managers and production of monthly reporting to the Management Company.
- Periodic review of service level agreements with parties appointed to the Funds.
- Annual review of fund-related policies and the preparation of new policies, as required.
- Assist with service provider Annual Due Diligence process including onsite visits.
- Ongoing development and update of procedures and controls for the UCITS function Foreign jurisdictions registrations - periodic and ad hoc.
- Responsibility for organising meetings, taking minutes and coordinating actions.
- Responsible for working independently prioritising and organising their workload referring queries to the senior team members as appropriate. Ability to act promptly and communicate effectively.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience within regulated investment related business in an investment related, middle office or compliance role.
- Analytical mind with the ability to organise, coordinate and communicate effectively.
- Familiar with the regulatory framework of collective investment schemes.
- Familiarity with legal documents relating to funds and investment business a knowledge of investment terminology and awareness of the UCITS regime would be advantageous.
- Experience within a project management, investment or compliance role would be beneficial.
- Demonstrate an accurate, methodical and well organised working approach, with an ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
- Possesses good team working skills combined with an ability to work on own initiative.
- Good level of skill in the use of Microsoft applications together with a good standard of written and oral communication.
- Positive, proactive and adaptable approach to work.
- High level of organisational and prioritisation skills combined with flexibility and willingness to help others.
- Appetite for responsibility and growth within the role.
