Our client seeks an experienced Wealth / Senior Wealth Adviser to join their team and step into a high-impact role where you'll be the trusted partner to a portfolio of private clients - delivering insightful, compliant wealth advice and exceptional relationship management.
 
You'll grow your own book of business, uncover new opportunities, and shape outstanding client outcomes across banking, investments, wealth planning, and lending. This role is ideal for a driven, commercially minded adviser who thrives on building relationships, navigating complex financial needs, and creating long-term value for clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Act as relationship manager for a portfolio of private clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, sourcing and coordinating solutions across the wider group as required.  
  • Deliver compliant financial, investment, and lending advice.
  • Provide a high level of service across banking, investments, wealth planning, and credit, including appropriate cross selling of internal services.
  • Complete annual client reviews, lending renewals, and ongoing servicing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide direct line management to Wealth Executives (where appropriate), supporting performance, development, and engagement.  
  • Drive sustainable business growth through proactive business development, originating new client relationships and expanding wallet share with existing clients.
  • $2022;Manage, maintain, and grow a personal client portfolio in line with agreed financial, asset growth, and retention targets.
  • Proactively develop existing client relationships and generate new business through referrals, networking, and professional relationships.
  • Undertake continuous professional development in line with regulatory, professional body, and internal Training & Competency requirements.
  • Maintain required qualifications, professional standing, and CPD records.  
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Wealth Management and specialist teams to support client outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of others within the business where appropriate, through knowledge sharing and professional example.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience providing financial advice to private clients in a regulated wealth management or private banking environment.
  • Demonstrable success in building, managing, and retaining client relationships and achieving portfolio growth targets.
  • Strong working knowledge of investment products, lending solutions, wealth planning principles, and financial markets.
  • RDR compliant investment qualification - Minimum Level 4 (Essential) - Working towards Level 6.
  • CeMAP or equivalent regulated lending qualification (or willingness to obtain if required for role scope) - Desirable).  
  • Clear understanding of regulatory requirements, governance standards, and conduct risk.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities aligned to client needs and business objectives.  
  • Technologically competent, with experience using CRM systems, financial planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to manage workload independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable managing complex client scenarios and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
