Our client seeks an Accountant to join their team.
Role Profile: You will work on a wide range of assignments across both advisory and formal engagements. You will take a lead role in managing a portfolio of insolvency cases, including, liquidations, receiverships, CVL's and MVL's ensuring statutory compliance whilst being responsible for stakeholder engagement throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases
- Managing multiple priorities and leading teams across concurrent projects
- Supervise case progression and ensure compliance with insolvency legislation
- Draft high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with stakeholders including directors, creditors, legal advisors, accountants and agents
- Undertake investigations into financial and legal matters.
- Manage team members and contribute to colleague development
- Contribute to internal training, process improvement, and technical updates
- Strong ability to delegate, review work and provide technical guidance to team members
- Ability to balance high-level analysis with strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues, assess risks and develop practical solutions
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify client needs and business development opportunities
Key Skills and Experience
- Degree educated
- A Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/ICAS) and/or relevant professional qualification
- Experience in managing insolvency and advisory cases
- Technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures
- Excellent report-writing skills
- Capable of managing competing priorities and delivering under pressure
- Astute and commercially minded
