Our client seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process day-to-day bills & supplier invoices, and general ledger postings.
- Liaise with other team members around day-to-day tasks, including billing, payments, invoice processing.
- Be responsible for data entry for financial transactions, ensuring they are in the correct format and compliant with client requirements.
- Ensure accurate application of the Advocates Accounts rules & FSA rules in relation to client money.
- Assist with month & year end close down.
- Respond to internal and external inquires related to payments and invoices.
- Assist the Head of Finance / Senior Finance Manager with the set-up and operation of the accounting system.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Head of Finance and the Senior Accounts Manager.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years' relevant administrative experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and manage competing priorities effectively.
